In addition to being Utah’s sire, Utamaro d’Ecaussinnes Z is one of the most accomplished competition stallions of the past decade. Named Horse of the Year in Belgium in 2015, he won the London Olympia World Cup leg in 2018 and represented Great Britain twice at the World Equestrian Games (Normandy 2014, Tryon 2018) and at the European Championships (Aachen 2015, Gothenburg 2017). Ridden by Joe Clee, William Whitaker and Niels Bruynseels, he built an outstanding international record. His first crop of offspring, including two already approved sons, is widely praised for intelligence, quality of canter, and natural jumping ability.
On the dam side, Quintus d’09 brings refinement and lightness. He competed at the highest level, including European Championships in Germany in 2007 and the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, where he finished 9th individually with Jean-Claude Van Geenberghe.
