Ophélie d’Ecaussinnes is a mare by Bamako de Muze, son of the legendary Darco and the foundation mare Fragance de Chalus—also the dam of Mylord Carthago and Norton d’Eole. Bamako de Muze himself performed at 5* level, achieving numerous placings in Grand Prix and Nations Cups. His offspring have quickly reached the top level, including Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (Olympic medallist) and Lector vd Bisschop (winner of the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona). Ranked among the world’s top 32 sires, Bamako’s progeny are widely praised for their scope and exceptional competitive mindset.
